| Note: No slaves Note: I haven't found this family yet in 1850. In 1860, they are in Macon County, Georgia. The birth locations of their children indicate that they moved to Alabama, back to South Carolina, and then to Georgia by about 1848. They should be found in Georgia in 1850. Note: I believe that the son, James Madison Bozeman is marked in the wrong column. He should have appeared in the column for age 5-9. |

Note: This family is a mystery. It appears to be a family of orphaned children. The oldest female is probably not old enough to be their mother, although, if she had her first child at age 14 or 15, she could be their mother. |

| Note 1: Unless there are twins in this
family, it is not likely that all of the children listed belong to William
and Tabitha Boazman. There are five children aged 5-9. I think
it is safe to assume that the male, age 5-9, is James Reardon who also is
listed with this family in 1850. The unknown females, age 20-29 is
probably the mother of James Reardon. At least one of the females, age
5-9 are probably hers too. I would speculate that she is the sister of
either William or Tabitha and that she married a Reardon who may have died
by 1840. Note 2: John Boazman, brother of William G. Boazman, died between 1830-1840. It is possible that the children of John Boazman were living with the family of William G. Boazman at the time of the 1840 census. |

| Note 1: Frances
Vaughn Boazman was born March 20, 1833. But, there is no entry for a Female age
5-9. It appears that she is marked in the wrong category on the census sheet. Note 2: I don't know who the female, age 10-14, is but I don't think that she is a daughter of David & Catherine Boazman. David & Catharine were not married until sometime after the 1830 census, probably in about 1832. Note 3: If the unknown male, age 5-9, is a son, then he most likely would have been born in about 1835. Notice that there is a four year gap between the birth of Frances in 1833 and the birth of William in 1837. This son is not listed in the 1850 census so we can speculate that he might have died between 1840-1850. |
